Eastern Europe, Turkey and the Levant (northern Israel and Lebanon; Pisanty et al. 2018; Wood et al. 2020). In Europe associated with steppe habitats (IUCN 2024); in the Levant, limited to mesic habitats mostly at high elevations. Flight period. Early April to Late June. Flower preferences. Presumably oligolectic on Brassicaceae (Alyssum, Barbarea, Brassica, Crambe, Draba, Erucastrum, Isatis, Lepidium, Peltaria, Raphanus, Sinapis, Sisymbrium).
