Abstract
Статья посвящена изучению различных аспектов деятельности в России представителей династии придворных медиков Блюментростов. В центре внимания — судьба основателя династии Л. А. Блюментроста, приехавшего в Москву в конце 1660-х гг. и прожившего здесь до своей смерти в 1705 г. В России Л. А. Блюментрост получил известность в качестве одного из лучших придворных врачей, участвовавшего в лечении царей Алексея Михайловича, Федора Алексеевича, Петра I и других членов царской семьи. В работе акцентируется внимание не только на профессиональной деятельности врача, обладавшего неординарными организаторскими способностями, но и рассматриваются его общественные инициативы в качестве одного из руководителей лютеранской общины Москвы. Выполнял лейб-медик и ряд других ответственных поручений. В статье уделено внимание и деятельности в России трех сыновей Л. А. Блюментроста, которые пошли по стопам отца и стали придворными медиками. Л. Л. Блюментрост-старший, рано ушедший из жизни, являлся лечащим врачом царевен — тетки и сводных сестер Петра I. И. Л. Блюментрост, начав карьеру в должности лейб-медика, в итоге возглавил медицинское ведомство в должности архиатера и сохранял свой пост вплоть до начала 1730-х гг. Л. Л. Блюментрост-младший получил известность не только как врач, но и как основатель Российской академии наук. Благодаря своим связям с интеллектуальными кругами Германии представители семьи Блюментростов приложили немало усилий для привлечения в Россию иностранных специалистов. Исследование базируется как на опубликованных, так и на впервые вводимых в научный оборот документах.
