The impact of sociodemographic factors on the acceptability of digital mental health care : a scoping review and a quantitative exploration among individuals with psychotic disorders

Introduction: Les personnes atteintes de troubles mentaux, en particulier celles des communautés marginalisées, rencontrent souvent des obstacles pour accéder aux services thérapeutiques. Les innovations numériques en santé mentale (INSM) sont des outils prometteurs pour améliorer cet accès, en complément aux soins en présentiel. Cependant, il est important d’évaluer l'acceptabilité des INSM, c’est-à-dire la manière dont elles sont perçues et utilisées, et d’évaluer comment celles-ci varient entre différents groupes sociodémographiques. Objectifs: L'objectif premier est d'entreprendre une revue de la littérature sur le rôle des différences démographiques dans l'acceptabilité des INSM. Le deuxième objectif est d'évaluer l’impact des différences démographiques dans l'utilisation et l'acceptabilité de l’intervention Horyzons-Canada (HoryzonsCa) auprès de personnes atteintes de troubles psychotiques. Méthodologie: Pour le premier objectif, un examen de la portée a été réalisé selon la méthodologie décrite dans JBI Manual for Evidence Synthesis. Le deuxième objectif s'inscrit dans la Phase 3 de l'étude HoryzonsCa. Les données, analysées en utilisant des tests non paramétriques, incluent les informations sur l'utilisation de HoryzonsCa et les réponses au questionnaire d'acceptabilité (rempli 12 semaines suivant l’inscription sur la plateforme). Résultats: Concernant le premier objectif, 23 des 42 articles inclus ont noté des variations démographiques en matière d'acceptabilité, principalement liées à l'âge et au genre. Concernant le deuxième objectif, 50 des 66 participants inscrits sur HoryzonsCa ont rempli le questionnaire d'acceptabilité. Des différences d'utilisation et d'acceptabilité ont été observées selon l'âge, le genre, la race, le niveau d'éducation et le statut professionnel.
