Abstract
Dans un contexte où la religion est souvent présentée dans l’espace public comme posant un défi pour le vivre-ensemble, parler de la diversité religieuse et plus encore de racisme antireligieux en classe devient un thème sensible. Si le contexte sociohistorique de chaque société permet de mieux comprendre ces sensibilités, il reste fondamental de mieux comprendre aussi ce type de racisme et d’amener les élèves à identifier les enjeux sociaux, historiques et éthiques qui en découlent. Inclure les perspectives des communautés concernées est alors une pratique à privilégier, malgré les défis qu’elle peut poser. Cet article relève des enjeux pédagogiques du traitement du racisme antireligieux en classe, puis présente l’approche adoptée pour l’élaboration d’un outil pédagogique qui tente d’y répondre en s’inspirant de l’approche antiraciste en éducation.
