Les Bibliothèques de l’Université de Montréal, le Service des bibliothèques et archives de l’Université de Sherbrooke et la Bibliothèque de l’Université Laval ont travaillé de concert afin de 1) convenir d’un schéma de métadonnées le plus prometteur selon les caractéristiques distinctives des REL 2) considérer les différents schémas de métadonnées existants dans les dépôts de REL canadiens et francophones pour faciliter le moissonnage et 3) implanter dans leur dépôt respectif (dépôt institutionnel ou outil de diffusion d’objets numériques) un nouveau bordereau de dépôt exclusivement destiné aux REL.
