Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This paper introduces the concept of Entropy Cost within the RHEA–UCM (Regulated Homeostatic Evolutionary Architecture – Universal Cell Model) framework. It formally maps logical efficiency to thermodynamic efficiency, identifying computational trust with reversible energy recycling Through derivations rooted in Clausius thermodynamics and Landauer’s limit, it is shown that RHEA-UCM operations approach zero entropy production under recursive symbolic coherence. Three simulation figures (, and empirical η trajectories) demonstrate the achievable thermodynamic closure of computation. 🛡️ RHEA-Core Public Grant v1.0 Creators Roe, Paul (Rights holder) Description “By accessing, using, or distributing any version of this work, you agree that the most current license published by the original author(s) applies retroactively and supersedes all prior licenses or public domain assumptions associated with earlier versions of this work, including but not limited to CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0, open-source metadata tags, or public repository assumptions. Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
