This chapter serves as a companion to our earlier paper, ‘Human brain/cloud interface’, which investigates the ethical aspects of a hypothetical (for now) nanomedically enabled brain/cloud Interface (B/CI). It also explores how a B/CI might impact one’s sense of self and how that self might relate to others, the world, and beyond.
