Les questions socialement vives pour contrer le risque d'endoctrinement

Abstract
Cet article rend compte d’une étude expérimentale qui vise à élucider l’intérêt éducatif de l’enseignement des questions socialement vives (QSV). Pour ce faire, nous avons considéré deux classes : une classe « ET » (ayant suivi un enseignement classique) et une deuxième classe « EE» (ayant suivi un enseignement basé sur la résolution des dilemmes sur la question des OGM). L’analyse des transcriptions du débat des deux classes montre que les élèves (EE) développent une argumentation solide d’ordre scientifique, social, éthique et philosophique autour de la question des OGM loin de toute forme de scientificité et d’idéologies retrouvées chez les élèves « ET ». Ces résultats montrent que l’enseignement des QSV participe à la formation citoyenne des élèves qui se présente comme un filet de sécurité contre tout processus d’endoctrinement.
