Abstract
Bangladesh, as a rapidly advancing nation, faces significant challenges with its transportation and communication infrastructure. Roads, trains, and canals are essential for promoting economic development, enhancing regional connection, and facilitating sustainable urbanization. The modernization of transport networks, along with the establishment of a multimodal communication system, has the potential to improve logistical efficiency, alleviate congestion, and promote trade competitiveness. This study examines the present condition of Bangladesh's transport networks, assesses modernization initiatives, evaluates the integration of multimodal systems, and offers policy recommendations for sustainable infrastructure development.
