Notice de recherche : Développements en cours autour du cadre NEAT+ en gravité métriquement fermée
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This research notice publicly documents the ongoing development of the NEAT+ program, a theoretical extension currently under active construction and building directly on the NEAT I–IV results on metric-closed non-metric geometries. The broad goal of NEAT+ is to explore the full range of non-metricity structures that preserve strict metric-closure while extending the geometric possibilities compatible with second-order field equations and the absence of extra propagating degrees of freedom.Several advanced conceptual avenues are being pursued in parallel, including:– a controlled generalisation of the geometric invariants capable of supporting a metric-closed connection;– the emergence of specific structural combinations that appear to enhance geometric closure beyond the pure-trace case;– residual affine symmetries that may preserve the algebraicity of the connection;– and preliminary indications of unexpected geometric compensation mechanisms in selected stationary or dynamical geometries. These elements, intentionally presented here without technical detail, require a rigorous construction in order to be fully formulated. The structures involved cannot be reconstructed through standard approaches and rely on fine algebraic relations among non-metricity components, requiring analysis beyond conventional metric or affine techniques.Preliminary observational indication: Early analyses suggest that NEAT+ may produce measurable deviations in:• quasinormal-mode frequencies,• photon-ring geometry,• and binary-inspiral phasing,at levels potentially within reach of LIGO A+, ngEHT, or LISA in the coming decade. Quantitative predictions will be presented in the full manuscript. The complete technical manuscript (NEAT-V) is currently in its final stages of preparation and will be submitted for peer review within six months. This notice documents the ongoing development of the NEAT+ framework and establishes priority for the conceptual programme ahead of the release of the full technical exposition.Note: “NEAT+” is a provisional designation for this generalised extension; the full version will appear under the final title “NEAT-V: Beyond Pure-Trace Non-Metricity” or an equivalent formulation depending on the final results.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
