Abstract
An outdoor interpretive display (storyboard) stands on a cobblestone walkway beneath a metal roof with ornate white lace-style trim. The display panel features a black-and-white portrait photograph on the left and a block of text titled “Sir Joseph Robinson” on the right. Behind the panel, part of the historic Langlaagte Stamp Battery's structure is visible. This photograph illustrates an official public message within the Main Street (Mining) Mall (see Zeisel, 2006).
