Abstract

Les habiletés en technologie des personnes enseignantes et apprenantes doivent progresser continuellement. Dans cette optique, le présent chapitre met en avant une nouvelle habileté à développer par ces personnes : la programmation informatique. Après avoir exposé les façons dont les habiletés en technologie du personnel enseignant sont perçues au Québec et à l’extérieur du Québec, nous soulignerons la pertinence sociale de l’apprentissage de la programmation informatique. Aussi, nous relèverons les potentialités des usages pédagogiques de la programmation informatique pour l’apprentissage et pour l’enseignement. La dernière partie de notre chapitre présentera une étude de cas d’usages pédagogiques de la programmation informatique à l’école primaire au Québec.
