Abstract
Call and response announcement outside King County Jail at night some prisoners will be released. Crowd cheers. Another announcement, the prisoners are coming down down. Cheering. Drumming. More call and response. There are 200 people at Westin lockdown. More people needed but people need to stay in front of the jail too. Eric, just released from prison, gets on megaphone, lets crowd know how great it was to look out the 9th floor window of the jail and see all the people in front of the jail and it helped with jail solidarity amongst prisoners. Feels like everybody is part of something historic. Sleep deprived activists chatting outside prisoner while waiting for more prisoners to be released. Metro bus pulls into the back of King County Jail. At 29 minutes, prisoners exit jail. Running, hugging, crying.
