Abstract
Sentral Industri Rajut Binong Jati adalah kawasan wisata belanja pakaian, sarung tangan, topi dan produk rajut lainnya. Saat ini perkembangan kawasan industri rajut binong jati masih terfokus pada industrinya saja sedangkan untuk penataan tempat dan kawasan belum di perhatikan. Kawasan industri rajut binong jati sebenarnya dapat berkembang dalam place baranding penataan kawasan melalui pemberdayaan budaya lokal sebagai bagian dari atraksi kawasan wisata belanja rajut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan penelusuran literatur terkait dan penelusuran lapangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan rekomendasi desain place branding penataan kawasan koridor jalan utama Binong Jati yang berbasis pada konektivitas potensi lokal untuk sebuah kawasan wisata. Place branding penelitian ini terfokus pada koridor jalan utama Binong Jati. Konektivitas adalah sebuah pola keterkaitan dan hubungan antar ruang, waktu dan kegiatan. Konsep konektivitas pada kawasan industri rajut Binong Jati dilakukan dengan menata untuk place branding potensi wisata yang tersebar melalui penguatan karakter tempat (place) dan optimalisasi pergerakan (movement), penguatan karakter tempat dengan memanfaatkan lahan kosong menjadi kawasan parkir wisatawan dan thematic park, mendesain entrance gate jalan Binong Jati dengan adanya street furniture dan penanda (signage) agar memjadi first impression yang menarik, penambahkan lampu penerangan di sepajang jalan, memperindah tampilan pertokoan. Sedangkan untuk optimasi pergerakan antara lain memfasilitasi pejalan kaki dengan adanya trotoar yang nyaman, tanpa hambatan dan ramah dengan difabel, menerapkan manajeman traffic dan strategi penempatan pada ruang parkir, transportasi publik becak untuk wisatawan berkelilng kawasan rajut Binong Jati. Dengan adanya place branding ini diharapkan meningkatkan daya tarik wisatawan berbelanja rajut di Binong Jati. Binong Jati Knitting Industry Center is a shopping and tourism area featuring clothes, gloves, hats, and other knitting products. Currently, the development of the Binong Jati knitting industry area is still focused solely on the industry, while the arrangement of the place and area has not been considered. The Binong Jati knitting industry area can develop through regional planning that emphasizes local culture, thereby enhancing the attraction of the knitted shopping tourism area. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, incorporating related literature searches and field research. The purpose of this study is to develop design recommendations for the place branding arrangement of the main road corridor area in Binong Jati, based on local potential connectivity for a tourist area. Place branding. This research focuses on the main road corridor of Binong Jati. Connectivity is a pattern of interconnectedness and relationship between space, time, and activities. The concept of connectivity in the Binong Jati knitting industry area is carried out by arranging for place branding, tourism potential that is spread through strengthening the character of the place (place)and optimization of movement (movement), strengthening the character of a place by utilizing empty land as a parking area for tourists and a theme park, designing entrance gate Binong Jati road with the presence ofstreet furnitureand marker (signage) to becomefirst impressionwhich are interesting, adding lighting along the road, beautifying the appearance of shops. Meanwhile, to optimize movement, among other things, facilitate pedestrians with comfortable, barrier-free, and wheelchair-friendly sidewalks, implement effective management, traffic, and placement strategies in parking spaces, and provide public transportation pedicabs for tourists to travel around the Binong Jati knitting area. With the existence of place branding, this is expected to increase the attraction of tourists shopping for knitwear in Binong Jati.
