Abstract
La Alexíada es una obra histórica escrita originalmente en griego medieval por Ana Comnena, hija del emperador bizantino Alejo I Comneno. A través de un vívido relato en primera persona, la autora reconstruye los acontecimientos clave del reinado de su padre (1081–1118), destacando las intrigas cortesanas, las campañas militares contra normandos, pechenegos y selyúcidas, y las complejas relaciones diplomáticas con Occidente durante las Cruzadas. Esta edición crítica, preparada por el Dr. Jorge Fymark Vidovic López, se basa en una copia digital del Laboratorio de Gestión del Patrimonio Cultural de la Universidad del Egeo, e incluye el texto íntegro en su lengua original. Publicada bajo licencia Creative Commons, forma parte del proyecto internacional Paths of Faith – Digital Patristics, y ofrece a investigadores, estudiantes y lectores especializados una fuente invaluable para comprender la política, cultura y espiritualidad del Imperio Bizantino en el tránsito del siglo XI al XII.
