Arheološka istraživanja u špilji Rači na otoku Lastovu

Abstract
Špilja Rača, smještena na jugoistočnom dijelu Lastova, predstavlja najvažnije pretpovijesno nalazište na otoku s kulturnim slojevima koji datiraju 5. tisućljeća pr. Kr., odnosno kasnog neolitika pa sve do mlađeg željeznog doba i početka rimske vlasti na južnodalmatinskim otocima krajem 1. st. pr. Kr.. Prva istraživanja provedena su sredinom 20. st., a od 2021. godine iskopavanja u Rači provodi Arheološki muzej u Zagrebu sa suradnicima u okviru projekta „Finds Stories: Addressing Mobility through People and Object Biographies“. Cilj istraživanja je utvrditi kako i zašto su otočne zajednice koristile ovaj spelološki objekt u različitim razdobljima pretpovijesti.
