Abstract
Doel en uitkomstIn het PPS-project 'Slimme verdienmodellen voor de akkerbouw' is een bouwplan-biodiversiteitstool voor de biodiversiteitsmonitor akkerbouw (BMA) ontwikkeld, met als doel om boeren en geïnteresseerden inzicht te geven in hoe gewassen, waaronder zetmeelaardappel, haver, veldboon en hennep, verschillen in score op de BMA.De tool richt zich op aanpassingen in het bouwplan en wat dat doet met de score van de BMA.Naast het bouwplan zijn er nog andere managementmaatregelen die impact hebben op de BMA-score.De meeste hiervan komen niet terug in deze tool.De resultaten laten de impact op die score zien van rustgewassen, organischestofbalans (OS-balans), stikstofoverschot, milieubelasting door gewasbeschermingsmiddelen, bodembedekking en carbon footprint. Zetmeelaardappel: heeft een relatief hoge carbon footprint (meer dan het dubbele van het gemiddelde van de geanalyseerde gewassen) en hoge milieubelasting gewasbescherming. Haver: scoort goed; het is een rustgewas, is positief voor OSbalans, laag in stikstofoverschot en heeft een lage carbon footprint. Veldbonen: zijn zeer goed op stikstofoverschot (weinig bemesting nodig), heeft een lage carbon footprint maar beperkte bijdrage OSbalans.
