Abstract
Özet: Tarihi çevrede, çeşitli referanslarla dokuyu yorumlayan / ilişkilerkuran ‘yeni yapı’ yaklaşımları çerçevesinde, yazı, Bursa Hal ve Çarşıbinalarının tarihi Hanlar Bölgesi içinde ‘modern bir han’ olarak tasarımsürecine odaklanmaktadır. Yeni hal olarak da isimlendirilen yapı,kentteki ticari aktivitelerin merkezi durumundaki Hanlar Bölgesi, KapalıÇarşı ve geleneksel köy pazarlarının içinde konumlanmaktadır. Yapı, bubölgedeki han tipolojisi ve biçimlenmesinden referansla kurgulanmış,yapının orta mekanı açık satış alanı ve çarşı, bu ana bölümünçeperindeki sundurma çatılı mekanlar ise çeşitli dükkanlar, bürolar vedepolar olarak tasarlanmıştır. Yapının çarşı bölümü betonarme iskelet,arası tuğla dolgu olarak inşa edilmiş olup, beş yüz metrekarelikbölünmeyen bir alan oluşturmaktadır. Çarşı bölümünün üst örtüsü,birbirlerini kesen çerçevelerin taşıdığı, çapraz tonoz şeklinde betonarmeplâk olarak çözümlenmiştir. Yapının tasarım sürecine ilişkin, bölgenintarihi ve mimari karakterini, bağlamını analiz eden, yenilikçi mimari dili,strüktür ve tasarım yorumu vurgulanmaktadır.
