Abstract
Es presenta de forma virtual, l'exposició de plànols georeferenciats basats en els mapes que va realitzar l'enginyer militar Agustín Crame, com a Visitador de les Fortificacions d'Amèrica al segle XVIII. La idea és mostrar una petita síntesi dels canvis urbans més visibles que s'observen en alguns territoris del Carib a partir de la georeferenciació dels mapes. Una part fonamental d'aquesta investigació, ha estat la combinació de tècniques de recerca tradicionals d'arxiu, i els recursos d'Internet que han estat fonamentals per determinar les transformacions urbanes i, sobretot, han estat claus per abastar una àrea geogràfica tan extensa com és la franja costanera del Carib.
