De wetsevaluatie van de Wet herziening partneralimentatie (ingegaan in 2020) is gestart met een tussenevaluatie in opdracht van het WODC. De tussenevaluatie bevestigt dat de effecten van de verkorte termijn nog niet meetbaar zijn, maar wijst op mogelijke onvoldoende bescherming via de bescherming van de hardheidsclausule.
