Abstract
Für die Chance auf einen sicheren und gut bezahlten Job sind gute Bildung und Ausbildung zentral. Dieser Zusammenhang lässt sich überall auf der Welt beobachten, und das in zunehmendem Maße. Gesicherte Erkenntnisse dazu gibt es aber vor allem für fortgeschrittene Volkswirtschaften – höchste Zeit, sich in der Forschung auch Ländern des Globalen Südens zuzuwenden.
