Bibliografia sobre Elies Rogent i Amat (Barcelona, 6 de juliol de 1821 – 21 de febrer de 1897), arquitecte, restaurador, docent i teòric de l'arquitectura. Rogent va iniciar els seus estudis a l'Escola de la Llotja de Barcelona el 1840. El 1845 va ingressar a l'Escola Especial d'Arquitectura de Madrid, on va obtenir el títol d'arquitecte el 20 de febrer de 1851. L’any 1850 guanya les oposicions a la càtedra de Topografia y Composición de l’Escola de Mestres d’obres de Barcelona. El 1871 es nomenat primer director de l’Escola Provincial d’Arquitectura de Barcelona, càrrec que exerceix fins al 1889.
