Abstract
Den (øko)kapitalistiske realisme holder os fanget i et forestillingsfængsel, hvor finans, teknologi, vækst og våben fremstår som de eneste logiske værktøjer til at adressere de kriser, som selvsamme værktøjer har skabt. Det gælder ikke mindst de planetære kriser. Økofuturismer forsøger at bryde ud af det fængsel ved at følge det zapatis- tiske slagord ’et nej og mange ja’er’. Som et stykke anti-kapitalistisk realisme tegner bogens breve, utopier, kritiske fagtekster, essays, anmeldelser og interviews fremtider, hvor vi sammen kan trække vejret. For at gøre os i stand til at se, føle og tale om liv, der er blevet ignoreret igennem store dele af historien. For at kultivere vitale og solidariske livsformer, som drager omsorg for mere-end-menneskelige arter og andre mennesker.
