Abstract
This project studies the conversion of a general aviation airport to a commercial airport in Canada, along with its economic feasibility. To do this, various studies are necessary. First, an airport in Canada that can support this conversion is selected, specifically Saint Hubert Airport (YHU). In the next phase, demand studies are conducted based on capturing part of the current demand from Montreal Airport. Depending on the demand, a study on the necessary infrastructure is carried out, covering both the airside and landside, thereby presenting a possible design. Finally, a cost-benefit analysis is presented, estimating the costs and benefits in the years following the airport conversion, in order to assess whether the project is economically viable
