Abstract
Cette étude est basée sur une enquête menée par l’Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) auprès de plus de 900 grands-parents québécois en 2025. Les répondants appartiennent au panel LEO de la firme Léger. L’enquête visait à questionner les grands-parents québécois sur trois grands enjeux: la fréquence et la nature des contacts avec leurs petits-enfants, la qualité de leur relation avec ceux-ci et les transferts financiers ainsi que l’aide de nature pratique donnée ou reçue par les grands-parents. Ce document en profite pour brosser un portrait des caractéristiques sociales, démographiques et économiques des grands-parents québécois sondés dans le cadre de l’étude. Le rapport est accompagné de trois fiches thématiques proposant une synthèse des principaux résultats.
