Abstract
This is the second part of a study on the influence of Vatican II on religious education in the Canary Islands. As in the last quarter of the 20th century, the education system underwent various legislative reforms in the first two decades of this century, with a significant effect on the teaching of this subject. Such reforms reflect the social and political transformations that have affected the treatment of religion in the curriculum. This article examines how these changes have affected religious education.
