Abstract
Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli kehittää Kansallisen Liigan valmentajien ja pelaajien käyttöön tarkoitettu harjoitusopas eturistisidevammojen (ACL, anterior cruciate ligament) ennaltaehkäisyyn. ACL-vammat ovat naisten jalkapallossa merkittävä huolenaihe niiden aiheuttamien pitkien poissaolojen, suuren uusiutumisriskin ja naispelaajien korkean vammautumisriskin vuoksi. Vaikka tietoisuus vammojen ennaltaehkäisyn merkityksestä on lisääntynyt, aikuisia naisia koskeva tutkimustieto on edelleen rajallista, eikä vammojen esiintyvyydessä ole havaittu laskua. Tiedon soveltaminen käytäntöön ja harjoitteluun sitoutuminen on edelleen keskeinen haaste. Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin yhteistyössä Suomen Palloliiton kanssa toiminnallisena kehittämistyönä. Siinä selvitettiin ACL-vammoihin liittyviä riskitekijöitä, ennaltaehkäisykeinoja ja niiden käyttöä rajoittavia haasteita sekä hyödynnettiin tätä tietoa yhdessä ajankohtaisen tutkimustiedon kanssa oppaan sisällön suunnittelussa. Tiedonkeruussa painotettiin erityisesti aikuisia naisurheilijoita koskevaa tutkimusnäyttöä. Oppaan tavoitteena on tukea naisjalkapalloilijoiden ACL-vammojen ehkäisyä sekä edistää ennaltaehkäisevän harjoittelun integroimista osaksi joukkueiden arkea. Harjoitukset kehittävät liikehallintaa sekä pelaajien kykyä reagoida tarkoituksenmukaisesti ennakoimattomiin tilanteisiin, mikä auttaa ehkäisemään riskialttiita asentoja ja liikemalleja pelitilanteissa. Harjoitusopas on sisällöltään tiivis, mutta informatiivinen kokonaisuus, joka yhdistää sekä harjoittelun vaikuttavuuden että käytännön toteutettavuuden.
