Abstract
Aquest estudi analitza la comunitat de mamífers terrestres grans i mitjans de la conca de la riera de Sant Bartomeu (Osona), mitjançant un seguiment amb 12 càmeres de parament fotogràfic entre setembre i octubre de 2024. L’objectiu principal de l’estudi és determinar la riquesa i abundància relativa d’espècies i aportar dades per a la seva conservació. S’han registrat 11 espècies de mamífers salvatges, amb 412 deteccions independents. Les espècies més freqüents han estat el cabirol (Capreolus capreolus), el senglar (Sus scrofa) i la guineu (Vulpes vulpes). Destaquen les deteccions de gat fer (Felis silvestris), una espècie protegida, i de turó europeu (Mustela putorius), espècie catalogada com «en perill d’extinció» a Catalunya. L’estudi revela diferències en la freqüència de detecció respecte a la mitjana catalana: el teixó i la fagina mostren valors inferiors, mentre que la marta és més abundant localment. Les dades suggereixen diferents preferències d’hàbitat entre les espècies: la marta (Martes martes) i la fagina (Martes foina) s’han detectat majoritàriament en zones boscoses, mentre que la llebre (Lepus europaeus) és més freqüent a la zona de mosaic agroforestal. En referència a la gestió i conservació de les espècies, es recomana mantenir o incentivar els espais oberts com les pastures i controlar factors de risc com l’ús de biocides i productes fitosanitaris, la presència de gats domèstics i del visó americà. La detecció del turó subratlla l’interès de dur a terme un seguiment més exhaustiu i valorar mesures de conservació específiques.
