Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) are microsecond-to-millisecond durations transient phenomenathat originate at cosmological distances. Some sources, called repeaters, have been observedto emit multiple bursts.The Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment/Fast Radio Bursts(CHIME/FRB), situated in Penticton, BC, is a unique experiment in its capabilities todetect FRBs owing to its broad frequency range (400-800 MHz), large instantaneous fieldof view ( 200 square degrees), and daily scanning of full Northern sky. It has detected over4000 radio bursts.In this thesis, we present two data analysis pipelines designed to estimate the energeticsof FRBs detected by CHIME/FRB and the sensitivity of the telescope to those events.These measurements are compiled, along with CHIME/FRB’s on-sky exposure, to retrievean all-sky rate of FRB’s that has implications for the possible progenitor scenarios. Thesensitivity measurements produced using pipelines described in this thesis are also usedin complimentary work to put constraints on multi-wavelength counterpart detections andthe observed repeating behaviour of FRBs
