Abstract
À la suite de la revue de littérature, des enjeux éthiques dans la recherche avec les personnes sourdes ont déjà été soulevés depuis des années mais demeurent encore assez inconnus et un angle mort a été trouvé : le bien-être des chercheur·es et des participant·es sourd·es n’est pas reconnu. Dans le cadre de cinq entrevues menées entre novembre 2023 et février 2024 avec 11 participant·es âgé·es de 31 à 52 ans, issu·es de 8 pays, entièrement conduites en langues des signes (American Sign Language, Langue des Signes Française et International Sign) via Zoom, plusieurs thématiques ont été abordées. Dans cet article, nous mettrons en lumière plus spécifiquement les enjeux vécus par les chercheur·es et des participant·es dans un contexte académique, sujets à des oppressions systématiques. Parmi ces points sont discutés l’autodétermination linguistique, les disparités institutionnelles, le stress minoritaire et l’acculturation sourde.
