Abstract
Suomen kokonaisturvallisuus perustuu erilaisten toimijoiden tiiviiseen yhteistyöhön. Viranomaisten ja elinkeinoelämän lisäksi turvallisuuden ylläpitoon, varautumiseen ja valmiuteen osallistuu myös kolmas ja neljäs sektori, eli järjestöt, yhdistykset ja viime kädessä yksittäiset kansalaiset. Suomessa sopimuspalokunnat ovat osa maan pelastuslaitosten organisaatiota ja vastuussa paikallisesta pelastustoiminnasta ja hätätilanteiden hallinnasta. Tässä podcastissa kysytään, ovatko sopimuspalokunnat kansallisen turvallisuuden kannalta niin sanottu ”radiolla käskettävä joukko”, jonka suorituskykyä ei voida menettää? Jaksossa vieraana Suomen sopimuspalokuntien liiton varapuheenjohtaja Juho Luukko. Moderaattorina sotilasprofessori Marko Palokangas.
