Abstract
Nous vivons dans l’idée que le futur est bloqué. Pourtant les fabriques culturelles de futur, notamment la science-fiction, restent robustes. Mais d’autres fabriques de temporalité, concurrentes et concomitantes, se voient plus clairement aujourd’hui, grâce aux émotions et en particulier la nostalgie. On observera cela d’abord en dégageant la logique nostalgique du futurisme; ensuite en éclairant plus techniquement l’enjeu nostalgique de l’ estrangement science-fictionnel; enfin en suggérant que l’alternateur et l’électricité formulent parfaitement cette logique culturelle.
