Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The use of various selection methods allows us to improve the stud flock of the stud farm of the Chelyabinsk region. By breeding the best representatives of highly valuable related groups, the number of cows with valuable productive qualities increases. The purpose of the research was to conduct a comperative appraisal of the reproductive qualities of Hereford cows belonging to different genealogical lines. To study the economic trait of Hereford cows of different genealogical lines, three experimental groups of 24 heads each were formed. The first group included animals descended from the Forder 191bull line, the second and third groups were represented by animals of the Canadian bull lines Dyce 10M and Absolute 49S, respectively. For each group, in different technological periods of rearing, such indicators as live weight, service period, duration of pregnancy of first-calf cows were evaluated. The formation and realization of the reproductive function of replacement heifers was carried out in optimal feeding and maintenance conditions. At the age of 15 months and in the pre-mating period, the heifers of the genealogical lines under study exceeded the Hereford breed standard in weight growth before the onset of sex maturity of cattle by 12–30%. The high dynamics of the live weight of cows even after calving confirms their very good adaptability for the technological conditions of the beef cattle farming. The results of insemination of the first-calf cows showed that fertilization was quite high in animals of all genealogical groups. It was found that in 66.7% of cows of the first calving, the service period was at the border for up to 90 days.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
