Abstract
Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena on kehittää standardoitu tekninen dokumentointimalli Alfa Laval Aalborg Oy:n valmistamalle teollisuustuotteelle. Tavoitteena on virtaviivaistaa tuotedokumentaatiota siirtymisessä kohti standardisoituja tuotteita luomalla yhdelle tuotteelle dokumentaatiorakenne, jota voidaan käyttää mallina, ja jatkaa muihin tuotteisiin. Tutkimus toteutettiin käyttäen laadullisia menetelmiä, niin avoimilla kyselyillä kuin tapaamisilla yrityksen sisäisten sidosryhmien kanssa keräämällä näkemyksiä asianmukaiseen rakenteeseen. Sekä käyttämällä tukena teknisen tuotedokumentaation kirjallisuuskatsausta ja vaatimuksien läpi käyntiä. Lopputuloksena esitetään valitun tuotteen yleis manuaali ja sen sisältö. Luotu rakenne toimii lähtökohtana standardisoidulle tuotedokumentaatiolle, jonka ympärille voidaan rakentaa ratkaisuja. Standardisointi on kuitenkin edelleen haasteellista, sillä keskittyminen vain yhteen standardi tuotteeseen rajoittaa merkittävästä asiakkaiden valintaa, sillä vaatimukset asiakkaiden väleillä vaihtelevat paljon
