Abstract
Les pérégrinations de Nicolas Bouvier en Irlande et en Ecosse ont souvent été occultés par ses voyages vers l'Est, au Moyen-Orient et en Asie. Elles furent pourtant à l'origine de récits fascinants sur les Lowlands écossais, les îles d'Aran et l'archipel des Hébrides, où le voyageur découvre la culture gaélique et une histoire aussi mouvementée que leur climat de tempêtes et de brumes. Cette enquête sur les derniers voyages de l'écrivain-voyageur montre comment, dans ses derniers écrits, espace et écriture s'entrelacent pour révéler la puissance des lieux.
