Abstract
Pajak merupakan iuran yang dapat bersifat wajib untuk dibayarkan oleh warga negara kepada negara, serta dapat bersifat memaksa dan tidak mendapatkan imbalan secara langsung dengan dipergunakan untuk kepentingan negara. Surat Permintaan Penjelasan Data dan (SP2DK) merupakan surat yang dibuat oleh Kepala Kantor Pelayanan Pajak (KPP) dengan tujuan untuk meminta penjelasan atas data dan keterangan kepada wajib pajak yang bersangkutan. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya temuan dugaan bahwa wajib pajak tersebut melakukan hal yang tidak memenuhi kewajiban perpajakan sesuai dengan peraturan perundang- undangan yang telah berlaku.Petugas pajak telah mengirimkan SP2DK kepada PT X pada tahun 2019, hal ini dikarenakan adanya temuan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara biaya gaji dalam SPT Tahunan PPh Badan dengan penghasilan bruto dalam SPT PPh 21.Kesimpulannya yaitu bahwa petugas pajak menginginkan suatu penjelasan atas data dan keterangan yang dimiliki oleh PT X. Khususnya terdapat perbedaan selisih antara biaya gaji dalam SPT Tahunan PPh Badan dengan penghasilan bruto dalam SPT PPh 21 tahun pajak 2019. Sehingga dikirimkannya SP2DK kepada PT X untuk diberi kesempatan agar segera memberikan surat tanggapan berupa penjelasan mengenai permasalahan atau perbedaan tersebut.
