Ce mémoire explore le développement du sentiment d’efficacité personnelle (SEP) chez les enseignants racisés débutants à Montréal par rapport à la gestion de classe, la planification des apprentissages et les pratiques d’enseignement (ce qui concerne les stratégies d’enseignement et le pilotage des situations d’apprentissages). Il étudie en particulier l’influence du contexte de racialisation sur le développement de ce dernier. À travers une analyse qualitative basée sur des entretiens semi-dirigés réalisés auprès de cinq enseignantes débutantes racisées, l’étude identifie les principaux facteurs contextuels influençant le SE, tels que les rétroactions des collègues, le climat social, le travail d’équipe et la présence de modèles variés. Les résultats démontrent que le contexte de racialisation a un impact significatif sur le développement du SEP, en amplifiant les défis liés aux relations sociales et à la collaboration professionnelle.
