Studie se zabv procesem formovn Masarykovy tvrti v Brn v prvn polovin 20. let 20. stolet v kontextu jejhovzniku a proto-existence po roce 1898. Vnuje se analze kontinuity vvoje tvrti od prvotnch ednickch koloni v dekdch ped1. svtovou vlkou po rozshlou modernistickou obytnou znu mezivlenho obdob, zavrenou fz vstavby v 30. letech 20. stolet.Zrod i podoba tvrti byly pitom dny budovatelskm silm stedostavovskch stavebnch drustev Bran eskho i nmeckhojazyka a tak psobenm vraznch architektonickch tvrc, mezi nimi je teba uvst Ferdinanda Hracha, Miloe Lamla, Jindicha Kumpota i Bohuslava Fuchse. Masarykova tvr se v prosted Brna stala zhmotnnm fenomnu exkluzivn zahradn tvrtidisponujc vysokou kvalitou urbanistickho uspodn, architektonickho ztvrnn a ptomnost kultivovan zelen.
