Abstract
La radio, média phare en Afrique, dispose d’un très grand maillage territorial à l’échelle du continent. Ce succès maintes fois analysé dans de multiples travaux de recherche est entre autres lié à son accessibilité économique et surtout à son adaptation à la culture de l’oralité qui caractérise majoritairement l’Afrique. Le Burkina Faso ne fait pas exception et la radio (notamment celle à caractère communautaire) y connaît un fort ancrage. En outre, du fait de la crise sécuritaire que le Burkina Faso vit depuis 2015, les questions de promotion de la paix et de la cohésion sociale sont des priorités et les radios communautaires étudiées dans le présent travail se sont saisies de ces enjeux en collaboration avec l’ONG burkinabé Laboratoire Citoyennetés. La présente étude montre que ces radios jouent un rôle important en matière de promotion de la paix et du vivre-ensemble au Burkina Faso.
