Cet article explore les crises financière, écologique et du logement à travers les archives de la radio communautaire CKIA-FM Radio Basse-Ville, située dans la ville de Québec. En s’appuyant sur l’approche de l’ethnographie archivistique, l’article présente comment ces crises ont marqué l’histoire de la station, notamment à travers des déménagements successifs et des défis en regard de la conservation des archives. L’article présente d’abord une crise liée aux finances de la radio qui a menacé la survie de la station en 2010-2011 et, en écho à cette crise, une commémoration sous la forme d’une série de documentaires radiophoniques en 2014-2015. Par la suite, il est question des archives documentant l’actuelle crise écologique, d’un sinistre qui les a mis en péril en 2024 ainsi que de la fragilisation de la radio dans le contexte spécifique de la crise du logement. Enfin, l’article propose une réflexion sur la valeur des archives comme témoins de ces crises.
