Abstract

We report on simulated results for an all-metal quadridge feed horn to cover an octave bandwidth from <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$25-50 \text{GHz}$</tex>. The design has been tailored for compatibility with the upcoming Next Generation Very Large Array (ngVLA) radio telescope array, and shows simulated performance comparable to that of a standard (sub-octave) waveguide feed. Two such feeds could be used to replace the three standard waveguide feeds of ngVLA bands 3-5.
