AVALIAÇÃO ESCOLAR: uma reflexão sobre a distância entre legislação e escola

Abstract
O presente artigo reflete sobre a avaliação escolar no Brasil, problematizando a distância entre o que é estabelecido pela legislação e os documentos normativos – em especial a LDB, as DCNs e a BNCC – e o que se realiza no cotidiano das escolas. O estudo, de natureza exploratória e analítico-discursiva, adota abordagem bibliográfica e documental, com base em referenciais críticos e pós-críticos, como Paulo Freire, José Pacheco, Michel Foucault e Christian Laval. A análise evidencia que, embora os marcos legais apontem para uma avaliação processual, diagnóstica e formativa, a prática escolar permanece vinculada a uma lógica classificatória, excludente e punitiva. Discute-se, ainda, como a lógica neoliberal incide sobre a escola, transformando a avaliação em dispositivo de controle e regulação, reduzindo estudantes a indicadores de desempenho e apagando suas singularidades. Nesse movimento, recorre-se à perspectiva foucaultiana para compreender a avaliação como regime de verdade, marcado pela tensão entre discursos oficiais e práticas enraizadas. Em contraponto, autores como Freire e Pacheco contribuem para pensar alternativas que reconhecem o caráter histórico, dialógico e inacabado da aprendizagem, valorizando a autonomia, a criticidade e a formação humana integral. Conclui-se que romper com a lógica avaliativa vigente implica deslocar o foco da classificação para a emancipação, tornando a avaliação um instrumento de equidade, inclusão e humanização no processo educativo.
