Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue realizar un análisis jurídico sobre las causas que provocan los actos de corrupción en el marco de la contratación pública, ante procedimientos eficaces contra la corrupción. El estudio fue cualitativo, se empleó el método hermenéutico jurídico, con un diseño de corte documental bibliográfico. Los resultados alcanzados permitieron concretar que en el Ecuador la contratación pública aparece con la necesidad de mejorar las condiciones de vida en la sociedad, sin embargo, desde la pandemia COVID-19 los gobiernos se han visto obligados a realizar compras urgentes de bienes e insumos y a contratar servicios muchas veces evadiendo los pasos establecidos en los procesos de compras dando pie a que la corrupción se haga presente, perjudicando al pueblo. En conclusión, la corrupción está relacionada con la contratación pública, por cuanto es el espacio donde las entidades públicas realizan su requerimiento con el fin de satisfacer necesidades.
