Abstract

En s’appuyant sur la méthode d’identification des phases d’apprentissage définie par Hubert et al. (2007) avec du matériel réel, cette étude analyse les phases présentes lors d’un apprentissage procédural en environnement virtuel. Trente-quatre participants, équipés d’un casque de réalité virtuelle, ont dû réaliser la Tour de Toronto lors de 30 essais. Les résultats montrent que la connaissance d’une procédure de réalisation de la Tour de Toronto est acquise en environnement virtuel avec une amélioration des performances au fur et à mesure de la pratique. Les données comportementales recueillies sont discutées en fonction des phases d’apprentissage identifiées, et un parallèle est fait entre ces phases et celles repérées par Hubert et al. (2007) en situation réelle. Cette étude contribue à la compréhension du processus d’apprentissage en environnement virtuel grâce au suivi automatique de l’activité permis par celui-ci.
