Abstract
É inusitado ver um homem no trabalho pedagógico com as primeiras infâncias, desafiando as expectativas tradicionais. Com essa e outras reflexões, este artigo se desenvolve, a fim de perceber como o neoliberalismo tem criado caminhos ontológicos e epistemológicos da docência nas escolas ocidentais de Educação Infantil. Este artigo segue critérios de revisão bibliográfica e buscou discutir a maternalização do fazer da professora de Educação Infantil, partindo das ideias de Brown (2019), Dardot e Laval (2016), Diniz (1998), Foucault (2008c), Federici (2017) e Rosemberg (2003). Ao adotar uma perspectiva foucaultiana, observou-se que a docência em creches-escolas está sujeita a determinantes estruturais que refletem uma racionalidade político-moral: a supremacia do masculinismo branco.
