Abstract
Sob a égide de cortes no investimento público na educação brasileira, ataques à honra das instituições universitárias federais e do sucateamento do direito social à educação no Brasil, contempla-se, no mesmo contexto das democracias em construção, a influência dos oligopólios e interesses privados nos espaços de tomada de decisão que, em tese, deveriam ser ocupados e utilizados com o fim democrático de defesa da coletividade. A partir desse contexto, a pesquisa se fundamentou nos postulados de Rolnik (2018), Agamben (2002), Dardot e Laval (2016), para responder ao seguinte questionamento: quais as consequências das políticas neoliberais na educação a partir do conceito de vida nua em Agamben? Nesse sentido, a pesquisa teve como objetivos principais estabelecer um estatuto conceitual da noção de vida nua com base nos fundamentos teóricos de Giorgio Agamben na obra Homo Sacer: o poder soberano e a vida nua I (2002) e, após, analisar de que maneira essa ideia pode amplificar a compreensão do fenômeno das políticas neoliberais na educação brasileira. Nesse sentido, o diagnóstico do contexto neoliberal, a partir das lentes conceituais viabilizadas por Agamben, permite denotar a função precípua das políticas neoliberais e da precarização da educação pública como ferramentas dispostas pela razão neoliberal que operam a colonização intelectual e subjetiva dos corpos humanos conforme os desígnios do capital.
