Abstract
Esta dissertação se propõe a circunscrever o lugar do delírio na direção de tratamento da psicose, na medida em que ele ocupa uma posição de destaque na estrutura clínica da psicose. Correlacionamos as concepções teóricas da psiquiatria clássica, de Freud, de Lacan e de Apollon a respeito do delírio. E também os respectivos desdobramentos dessas abordagens na intervenção clínica. Interrogamos, mais amiúde, a proposta de Apollon referente à desmontagem do delírio articulada à produção de um fantasma na psicose. Por fim, cotejamos dois casos clínicos sustentados por Cantin e Bergeron ambas psicanalistas do 388 , uma instituição no Québec que trabalha a partir da proposta de Apollon , com um caso clínico de nossa experiência no Hospital Psiquiátrico de Jurujuba, Niterói.
