The author presents in this book a new translation into French with commentary of the Avestan chapters 51–54 of one of the most important Zoroastrian long liturgies: The Yasna (Y). Three Old Avestan texts are recited in these chapters (Vohuxšaϑrā Gāϑā in Y 51; Vahištōištī Gāϑā in Y 53; and the prayer Ā. airiiə̄mā. išiiō in Y 54), plus the Young Avestan text Y 52, which the author calls Vaŋhucā Hāiti.
