Rock-a-bye baby: learning from teaching the infant–parent psychotherapy (IPP) intervention model
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The paper describes a therapeutic model of early intervention into the infant–parent relationship, utilising a specific method of teaching – using a psychoanalytic approach of group learning through a continuous case seminar format during an academic year. The seminar is led by two leaders who are experienced in this model, able to demonstrate their individual differences and similarities in understanding behaviour and learning in groups. The method of teaching involves presentation of clinical case material of a clinician working within the infant/child–parent relationship, while at the same time, there is an attempt to access and understand the feelings aroused in the clinician and participants within the group. Relevant literature is assigned. This approach may activate unresolved issues within the participants. The past is reactivated in the present. Another hurdle is the therapeutic switch from working in a one-to-one therapy structure where the focus is on the individual, to the dyadic relationship, also involving the clinician actively.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
