Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

In September and October 2018, KDK Archaeology Ltd carried out Historic Building Recording of Harefield Grove, Rickmansworth Road, Harefield, London to fulfil Condition 3 of Listed Building Consent for the development of the buildings on the site. The work was carried out included: Main House: HE Level 4 (covered in a separate report (Kaye 2018)) 20th century wings to the rear of the main house: photographic survey of the exterior of the buildings and the main reception area/atrium Cottage: HE Level 3 n September and October 2018, KDK Archaeology Ltd carried out Historic Building Recording of Harefield Grove, Rickmansworth Road, Harefield, London to fulfil Condition 3 of Listed Building Consent for the development of the buildings on the site. The main house of Harefield Grove is a Grade II listed building dating to the early part of the 19th century and was overhauled and hugely extended in the early 1980s when the site became the headquarters for Initial Services Ltd. It has been vacant for several years, although used for film and photo shoots. The Cottage dates from 1873 and, despite having been considerably modernised in the 1980s, has remained unused for many years. This study has shown that many of the historical features in the house are modern replicas of or based on the originals that are mostly well executed, but using modern and largely inappropriate materials. The Stable Block and the Conservatory were completely rebuilt in the early 1980s. The original design of both buildings was used as a basis for the present structures, although the present Stable Block has a centrally located carriageway and arched windows that were lacking on the original.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
